GTA provided geotechnical engineering, environmental consulting, wetland delineation, hydrogeologic services, and construction observation and testing services for the 664-acre, 2,510-unit Residential Planned Community (RPC), 18-hole Championship Golf Course, 22,000-SF award-winning clubhouse with restaurant, community center, fitness center, and tennis courts centered around Betts Pond. Additional specific geotechnical engineering services included design recommendations associated expansion of the Town water & sewer system to service the new community; mass earthwork and utility installation recommendation, retaining wall design, bulkhead design, timber bridge foundation recommendations, pavement design recommendations, stormwater recommendations and infiltration testing, foundation/slab support recommendations, and select basement evaluations. Some of the construction observation and testing serves performed also included utility placement and backfill compaction, roadway fill and subbase compaction, roadway subgrade and subbase proof roll, lot fill compaction, foundation subgrade observation, retaining wall construction observation, box culvert construction observation, and pond construction observation.
