Pinegrove (formerly Heritage Green)

GTA is performing subsurface exploration, laboratory testing, geotechnical analysis, and construction observation and testing services for the Pinegrove (formerly Heritage Green) residential development. This master-planned community has been under construction since 2021 with over 2,500 new homes on over 1,000 acres. Significant portions of the project site were underlain by existing fills resulting from prior disturbance and/or challenging native conditions, including soft/loose surficial soils and shallow groundwater. GTA worked with the Client and design team to evaluate these conditions and provided recommendations to mitigate them during construction.

GTA Waldorf’s services to date have included observation and testing for site grading (including the evaluation and mitigation of challenging subsurface conditions), utility construction, subgrade soils, soil cement, cast-in-place concrete, culverts, retaining walls, bituminous concrete, and stormwater management facilities.
