Matt Jennette is a Vice President of GTA responsible for natural environmental planning and permitting services throughout the footprint of the Company for major energy, utility, industrial, commercial, residential, and non-profit clients.
With 14 years of experience, including 10 at GTA and two years with the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, Matt specializes in project management, wetland delineations, wetland jurisdictional determination requests and permitting, forest stand delineations, environmental assessments, preparing technical reports, wetland mitigation design and planning, and habitat management services. He has also performed and oversees various sensitive species surveys for plants, birds, reptiles, and amphibians.
Matt earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife Conservation from University of Delaware and his Master of Science degree in Environmental Science from Towson University. He is a Qualified Professional under the Maryland Forest Conservation Act, as well as a Maryland Certified Pesticide Applicator licensed to treat aquatic and right-of-way environments.
Matt is currently overseeing several projects located in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and North Carolina including community and utility-scale solar projects, utilities, business parks and warehouse distribution facilities, mixed-use developments, residential communities, and habitat restoration projects.
